Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers are an important part of sustaining the operations, events and programs needs of the Richardson-Bates House Museum. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available based on experience and interest.

– Docents (Tour Guides)
– Special Events & Programs
– Committees
– Fundraisers

Volunteer Duties:

– Give tours of the Richardson Bates House during regular hours or for specially scheduled tours and open house events
– Help to maintain the grounds and floral plantings around the Richardson Bates House
– Serve on the committees for the Not So Silent Auction and Classic Movie Night fundraisers
– Help with the annual Family Fun Day
– Assist with mailings
– Assist with data entry in the museum software program
