Central Square History

The village of Central Square was incorporated in 1890. The area was the crossroads  of early settlers using Native American trails.   Chester Loomis built a hotel there, giving the first name of “Loomis Corners” to what we now know as Central Square. The following are some interesting stories about the village of Central Square.
